Coming next
Four phases, ordered by regulatory deadline
The Solvency II review applies from 30 January 2027, so it comes first. Each later phase reuses its stressed runs, so it arrives sooner.
Phase 1: The revised Solvency II balance sheet
- Risk margin on the review basis: 4.75% cost of capital and the lambda factor
- Standard formula SCR: life underwriting and market modules
- New extrapolation, volatility adjustment and LTG impact
- IFRS 18 presentation of the IFRS 17 lines
Done when: Year-end 2026 and Q1 2027 side by side, with the risk margin change explained
Phase 2: Reporting and the forward view
- Solvency II QRTs for technical provisions and the SCR
- One analysis of change across Lux GAAP, Solvency II and IFRS 17
- ORSA projections and stress scenarios, including climate
- Pre-emptive recovery plan indicators
Done when: One business-plan year projected and reconciled to the opening balance sheet
Phase 3: Value and pricing
- Embedded value and value of new business
- Pricing and profit testing, with day-one CSM and capital strain
- Solvency UK basis for UK groups
Done when: Value of new business for one product agreed with an independent check
Phase 4: Specialist valuation
- Stochastic valuation of guarantees from your scenario file
- Liquidity projection under stress
Dates are targets, not commitments, and the order follows what customers need first.

Roadmap questions
Will AutoImpact support the Solvency II review from 30 January 2027?
Yes, it is the first phase of the roadmap, targeted for Q1 2027: the risk margin at the 4.75% cost of capital with the lambda factor, the standard formula SCR it needs, and the new curve extrapolation and volatility adjustment.
Does AutoImpact calculate the Solvency II SCR today?
Not yet. Today it calculates the best estimate and the IFRS 17 risk adjustment's stresses. The standard formula life and market modules are in phase 1 of the roadmap.
Is Solvency UK on the roadmap?
Yes, in phase 3, as a separate basis set with the PRA's risk margin calibration, the matching adjustment and the PRA templates. Tell us if you need it sooner.
Can customers change the order of the roadmap?
Yes. The dates are targets, and the order follows what customers need first. Contact us with your reporting dates.
