Lux GAAP valuation for unit-linked business

Policy by policy and month by month on your basis note: the policyholder benefit reserve, the additional reserves and the technical provision, with every step shown and a reviewer workbook that agrees to the cent.

Your method, your basis

  • Reserves as your basis note defines them: PBR, AFBR and ANLR, with the reserve floor rule you choose (per policy, every month or none).
  • Monthly projection: premiums on the policy anniversary pattern, charges capped at the fund available, mortality and lapse tables, expenses and inflation.
  • One basis, under control: loaded from JSON, each change proposed with a reason and applied once a second person approves it.
  • A methodology document generated from the same definitions the calculation runs on.

New Calculation rules

Add your own items in plain language

Write an add-on item the way your basis note puts it, for example "Additional reserve = 2% of unit fund value when policy year is below 5, otherwise 0".

  • A rule marked as a reserve item adds to the technical provision, and the run shows "Technical provision with reserve items". Other rules are shown beside it.
  • It applies from the next valuation once a second person approves it, and is shown per policy on the Calculation tab.
  • The reviewer workbook's "Add-on items" sheet has every rule as an Excel formula next to AutoImpact's value.
